Chelsia Rose Marcius is a staff reporter at the New York Daily News where has covered crime, courts, politics and breaking news since 2012. Chelsia has reported on some of the biggest national stories of the last five years, including the mass shooting in Las Vegas, N.V.; the marathon bombing in Boston; the Ariel Castro kidnappings in Cleveland, Ohio; the escape from Clinton Correctional Facility in Dannemora, N.Y. and the Sandy Hook school shooting in Newtown, Conn. Her work has also appeared in The New York Times and the Chicago Sun-Times. She has been interviewed on MSNBC, BBC Radio, Inside Edition, Daily Mail TV, and other media outlets. Chelsia is also an adjunct professor at New York University, where she holds a master's degree in Journalism. Prior to her graduate studies, she earned two bachelor's degrees — one in Journalism, the other in International Studies — from Loyola University Chicago.
